The Northville Community Foundation

Founded in 1997, the Northville Community Foundation exists for the purpose of enhancing and enriching life in the Northville community. The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations, educational programs, health related issues for youth and seniors, historic preservation and the arts. The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization. The Foundation also awards numerous scholarships to high school seniors. To date over 100 scholarships have been awarded. Our mission is to build today for tomorrow.  Read more about us

Independence Day Parade

The Theme for this year’s Independence Day Parade is American Memories!

The Parade begins at 10:00AM at the foot of Griswold and Main Street in Downtown Northville. The Northville Independence Day Parade is sure to be a hit once again as floats, characters, bands, classic and vintage cars, veterans, fire trucks, bikes, and even animals make their way through the streets of Northville.

The Pet Parade!
Bring your favorite pet, dog, cat, bird, fish, you name it, you can bring it and be a part of our Pet Parade.

The Bike Parade!
Hey kids, decorate those bikes and enter the BIKE PARADE!! We thank Monroe Bank and Trust and Meijer for sponsoring the Bike Parade. Please decorate bikes BEFORE parade day. Bike Parade entrants should arrive at 9:15a.m. at the north west parking lot at Sheldon and 7 Mile. Bike entrees DO NOT HAVE TO PRE—REGISTER!

If you have a Parade entry and would like to participate you MUST pre-reregister by calling (248) 374-0200 or you may download the application. If you would like to serve on the committee, please contact the Foundation office. Don’t miss any of the FUN!
