Maple Syrup Family Hayride & Demonstrations
March 3 & 4, March 10 & 11, March 17 & 18, March 24 & 25
and March 31 & April 1.
Tours at 1p.m. 2p.m. and 3p.m.
Included in the tour is a hayride to the maple tree grove,
tapping trees, returning to watch the evaporation process.
Your family will see all of the steps in producing maple
syrup.
Dress warmly and boots are a MUST. Refreshments will be
available in the Welcome Center.
Your family will not want to miss this experience, everyone
loves it.

April Events
Maybury Farm will continue its Maple Syrup Demonstrations
through mid-April. Closed on Sunday April 8, Easter Sunday.
The tour includes a hayride to the maple tree grove,
tapping the trees and returning to observe the actual sap to
syrup process. A hit with students and families!
The Farm officially opens for the season with Spring
hours.

Celebrate our fun-filled weekend at Maybury Farm as we kick off Farm
Days.
Kids, moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas will all find something they
enjoy. Country music, sheep shearing, spinners, antique tractors,
visiting all the new baby animals, face painting, and much more- there
is truly something for everyone. Hay rides, face painting, food and
drink may also be purchased.

July Events
Enter Northville dressed in the uniform of the day RED,
WHITE AND BLUE!
And get ready for a GREAT Parade. Music, floats, marching
bands, clowns, children's characters, Vintage and Classic
Cars, Bike Parade, Pet Parade and even a few celebs will
make an appearance in the Parade. The Northville Community
Foundation has hosted the Parade for the past 14 year and
each and every year it seems to grow just a little more.
Each year the Parade features new entries along with a myriad of
children's characters. The award winning Northville High
School Band along with the Plymouth Fife and Drum Band and
many more bands will be there to entertain.
The Bike Parade! Hey kids, decorate those bikes and
enter the Bike Parade!! Please decorate bikes before parade
day because the best decorated bikes will receive a prize.
Bike entrees DO NOT HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER!
Get involved - serve on the committee or place an entry in
the Parade! Everyone is invited to be a part of the Parade -
making a float, bringing your favorite pet to the Pet
Parade, or decorating your bike for the Bike Parade. If you
have a Parade entry and would like to participate you MUST
pre-reregister by calling (248) 374-0200 or you may download
the application. If you would like to serve on the
committee, please contact the Foundation office. Don't miss
any of the FUN!

Honey Making Demo for Families July 21 and 22 at
1p.m. and 3p.m.
July also begins the fresh vegetable sale at the Farm. We
usually begin picking the second week in July. Our produce is grown
right on our own Farm and picked daily. We have cucumbers, zucchini,
summer squash, peppers, tomatoes, and there is new produce daily. We
also have fresh eggs daily. Vegetables are available daily in the
Welcome Center.
Annual Northville Community Foundation Golf Classic - Funds are used for
scholarships and other needs of the Foundation.

beginning September 22 thru November 4.

The last wagon leaves for the Maze
one hour prior to close.
Quite a few new additions this year! Something for
everyone - there is even a playground for our little
goblins.
Corporations, scouting troops, school groups, church
groups, singles clubs often book the Corn Maze during the
week. Call (248) 374-0200 for appointment for groups
of 15 or more. There will also be a discount for groups
booking Tuesday, Wed. or Thurs. during the day.

Successfully complete the Maze by finding the 8 animals
in the Maze then board the wagon for a ride back to the
Welcome Center where cider, donuts, snacks, and a toasty
fire in our stove await you; a great experience for kids to
learn how homes were once heated and where they can also see
many of the antique farm treasures. You may win a $100
Meijer Gift Certificate.
Pick the pumpkin of your dreams grown
right
at Maybury Farm.
A trip to the Farm and enjoy all of our animals
including horses, miniature horses, chickens and
roosters. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the day in our
picnic area! A trip to the Farm playground is always a
hit with its kid tractor, mini tractors, horse, wagon,
farmhouse and sandbox - a must for every kid.
You can also purchase pure honey right from the Maybury
Farm hives, syrup, jellies made especially for Maybury Farm
and so much more.
All of the proceeds from the Maze are used to pay for our
winter feed bills for our animals. Plus your tickets are a
donation and tax-deductible

Need some holiday decorating ideas? Decorators have been busy preparing
gorgeous homes selected for the Northville Community Foundations 14th Annual
Holiday Home Tour. You will get decorating ideas for mantels, tables and much,
much more. Each home is unique and a delight to the eye!
Proceeds from this event fund the community's funds
including the Healthy Youth and Senior fund that helps with
Grants to the schools, the Senior Citizen gift baskets, the
scholarship fund, and other youth and senior programs.
