Maybury Farm Corn Maze and Harvest Days

Southeast Michigan: The Harvest Days at Maybury Farm are celebrated each year not only to celebrate a wonderful harvest but also to add a lot of fun for everyone. Throughout the two day celebration – Saturday and Sunday, September 18 and 19, we will have music (Soniq Cell), Canning demonstrations by Mary, Bubble Gum contests for kids of all ages, Magic by Steven Sage, Balloon animal making, Down on the Farm interactive play by the Rising Star Players, wandering Pirates, Face Painting, AND THE OPENING OF THE MAYBURY FARM CORN MAZE – yes, you can even go through the Corn Maze – WHAT A DEAL!

The corn is lush, green and growing in anticipation of the thousands of visitors who come to the Farm each year for the Maze! This year’s Corn Maze was designed by Floyd Watkins and is in the shape of a tractor that says Maybury Farm. It is a ton of fun and may look easy but some of those paths DEAD END! The added incentive this year for finding the 9 (wooden) animals hidden within the Maze is a chance to win one of FIVE Meijer Gift Cards (must be 18 years or older to win) for $100 - all you have to do is complete the Maze successfully. For our little guests (3 and under) we have our Kiddie Maze - just right for the toddlers – they will have a ball!

The Corn Maze begins with the Harvest Days and runs through November 8. You get two events for the price of one this weekend!

Hours are Saturdays from 1:00pm until 10:00pm; and Sundays from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. The last wagon leaves for the Maze one prior to close. Beginning September 24, the Maze will also be open on Friday’s from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. Group Tours may be arranged during the week by calling (248)374-0200.

FOUR GOOD REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THE MAYBURY FARM CORN MAZE!

  • First, you get a HAY RIDE out to the Maze and a ride back to the Welcome Center.

  • Second, the reason for our Maze is to support the Farm and feed the animals throughout the long winter months.

  • Third, you tickets are a donation and tax-deductible.

  • Fourth, you may win a $100 Meijer Gift Certificate.

NOW WHY WOULDN’T YOU VISIT THE MAYBURY FARM CORN MAZE 2010?
